For VCP/NDK style of hatch covers, cockpit covers, PFDs, latex gaskets on dry tops/dry suits and many other items, 303 Protectant will extend their life tremendously. Kokatat even includes samples with their dry suits.

How often you should use 303 depends on the type of product and amount of time in the sun. A cockpit cover on a kayak stored outside in direct sunlight should be done much more frequently than a boat stored indoors and only exposed to UV during transport to trips.

As a general guideline; Latex should be 303ed once a month, VCP/NDK style of hatch covers should be 303ed a couple of times a year, PFDs and other nylon product should be done every couple of months. 303 Products
