Eternabond Tape is the best boat repair tape we have found. It works on plastic and composite kayaks, and it will stay on for many trips. It can be installed on a wet surface. A great bonus is that it comes off clean with almost no residue. Just remove the clear liner, stick the tape over the damaged area and rub firmly. Good to use something solid to help run it in so it sticks completely.
